Taco Loco started in 2018 when Chef Miguel Herrera left his corporate kitchen job to chase a dream: bringing real Mexican street food to Austin from a truck. Using recipes from his grandmother in Oaxaca and meats smoked low and slow Texas-style, he created something the city had never tasted. Today we serve over 1,000 customers weekly from our iconic red truck, and we have been voted Best Food Truck in Austin three years running.
